URGENT: Volunteers Needed for Sunday GWNC Events!
Submitted by lizfuller on Fri, 10/26/2012 - 12:00.GWNC needs your help! On Sunday, there are two big GWNC events - our elections and our booth at the Larchmont Fair, where we'll be providing emergency preparedness information and demonstrations.
But we still need volunteers to help staff both events. Anyone who is not a candidate in the GWNC elections can volunteer to help set up, staff the polls or clean up afterward. If you're a candidate, you can't volunteer as a pollworker, but you can help with setup/cleanup. To sign up (and you MUST sign up in advance), please call Monica at the DONE election hotline: (818) 393-8683.
To help out at our Larchmont Fair booth, where we'll be providing information on emergency preparedness, as well as encouraging folks to vote in our elections, please contact info@greatewilshire.org You can sign up for whatever amount of time fits your schedule.
Thanks, folks -- this is a big day for GWNC community visibility and your participation will be much appreciated!
