You're invited...to get to know the GWNC's Western-Wilton Neighborhood

Greg Wittmann, the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council's representative from the Western-Wilton (We-Wil) neighborhood, invites you to join him this coming Sunday for a Walk and Talk to explore the streets of the vibrant We-Wil area (bordered by Wilshire, Western, 3rd and Wilton). The discussion will include information about the area’s history, architecture and people...and ideas for improving the neighborhood, which will be shared with the GWNC.

When: 2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 19th
Where: Meet at 2:00 at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church parking lot on the southeast corner of Wilton and 3rd.

Provide Your Input on DWP's Budget

In the continuing spirit of collaboration with Neighborhood Councils City-wide, the DWP welcomes all NC members and stakeholders to attend its Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Budget Workshop.

The workshop will be held at 6501 Fountain Ave., Hollywood, CA on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 8:45 AM.

This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about DWP's Fiscal Year 2013-2014 budget and its challenges, as well as provide your input directly to LADWP executive management.

Community Input Meetings for the New Mobility Element of the City's General Plan

The Department of City Planning will be preparing an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed City of Los Angeles Mobility Element Update. This is the portion of the City's General Plan that deals with transportation issues.

The City wants your input on what should be studied in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Mobility Element. Written and oral comments can be made during two public scoping meetings:
